Olivia Oltmanns
My name is Olivia Oltmanns and I am a fine artist based out of Cleveland, OH. My main practice is figurative painting and I work in a plethora of mediums including oils, acrylics, digital painting and gouache. My subject matters include mainly portraits of strong female protagonists, animals, and nature. I enjoy exploring expressive uses of color, emphasis of form and apparent brushwork in my paintings. Recurring topics in my work have been: female form, nature, and mortality.
I lived and studied in Spain for 7 years, where I studied a Bachelor Degree of Fine Arts from the University of Vigo and Master of Fine Arts in Creation and Research of Contemporary Art from the University of Vigo. I started my career as a fine artist in 2018 after finishing my education abroad. Since then, I have been working on personal art and commission work.
